About Pointe Coupee Parish Court Docket

Pointe Coupee court information is kept by more than one custodian. The parish Clerk maintains 18th JDC records, twelve Justice of the Peace offices keep their own lower-court files, and Fordoche and Livonia use separate town-court routes. This private reference resource helps distinguish those channels and points readers to the official office that can confirm a docket, setting, or copy request.

Why We Built This Site

Louisiana law permits public access to many court records, but it does not create one universal public trial-court case index for Pointe Coupee. The ClerkNet portal is the local online entry point for district records, while its public landing page is account based. A court docket is the running case index of filings, minutes, settings, and outcomes. It differs from the filed document or a certified copy. The official Clerk and court remain the source for confirmation.

What You Will Find Here

  • Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Pointe Coupee Parish
  • Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
  • Case lookups: how to run a case search through ClerkNet, the Clerk, or the correct lower court
  • Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Louisiana court, clerk of court, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages contain search boxes run by third-party providers. Those providers control their own results, terms, and pricing. A paid signup through one of those links may produce a referral fee for this resource. The official Pointe Coupee Clerk, court, or lower-court custodian remains the place to verify a record.
